Be myself

I love my mini sketchbooks. Mainly because i can bring them anywhere and when i feel like documenting anything, they are there for me. I’ve 4 ongoing ones now. 1A4, 1A5, 2A6s. Abit regret buying that A4 because it’s big and inconvenient to carry around though i can give myself thousands of reasons to buy it then. It is mainly for ink works and it serves well for my last trash challenge.

Does art requires work to be exhibited to be considered as Art. Does art requires jury to be passed to be considered as Art. After these experiences, I came to understand myself better. Art for me now is a documentation of my life. Whether anyone is interested or not, I owned myself to be happy and contented in anything I do and that’s just sketching. Sketching in little books are stress free, enjoyable and free. I can just use any medium that’s me that day, do any sketch that reflects my moments. No need to answer to any buyer or commissioned work or keeping to any kind of style that’s to be exhibited. I’ve seen artists who can be using a style for many paintings that they produced and yes while it’s nice, I hope it’s well balanced out on their inside too.
